Message From Principal
Greetings Saukville Elementary Students, Parents/Guardians, and
We have just completed an outstanding first quarter at Saukville Elementary School. Our students are learning and having tons of fun. We have been working hard getting to know our students as individual learners. Our goal is always to meet them where they are academically, emotionally, and socially and to move them forward as the year goes on. Our third and fourth grade students have been working hard on their WKCE testing the past couple weeks. This is the state assessment our school report card is based on and we are very excited to see how this group of students can do. They have been working very hard this fall getting ready for this and I know all their hard work will pay off.
We have also been working hard to show our Eagle Pride throughout the building. If you ask your child what it means to show Eagle Pride they should be able to tell you that it means to:
~ Be Respectful
~ Be Responsible
~ Be Ready to Learn and Help
For the classes that have been showing Eagle Pride in the hallways we have been giving out brown tickets which were turned in for footballs as part of a school wide competition. The footballs were then put on our SES football which was in the main hallway. Mrs. Bretl’s class was the clear winner for the first quarter so they will be getting a root beer float party with a movie. We will have a similar competition for the second quarter with white tickets and snowflakes.
I hope parents/guardians take the opportunity to come in and see how much your child has accomplished thus far this year and see some of the great things happening at SES. And as always… GO EAGLES!
