Last Name A-L will be in school Monday and Tuesday and virtual Wednesday through Friday.
Last Name M-Z will be virtual Monday through Wednesday and in school Thursday and Friday.
Please note that student schedules are in the process of getting revamped due to the new reopening schedule. What you see on PowerSchool is NOT the final schedule.
Students will travel to core classes as a group of no more than 15. Related Art classes will be as follows:
7th & 8th grade: TBD
6th grade: 2-Qtrs of Art, Tech Ed, Business. They will also receive PE and Music.
5th grade: 2-Qtrs of Art, Health, Library. They will also receive PE and Music.
Depending on if students are in Band and/or Choir, thier schedules will be adjusted as needed.
FREE LUNCH PROGRAM EXTENDED THROUGH AUGUST
Lunches will be offered throught the district at no cost, to all children living in the PWSSD district through August. Lunches will be available for weekly pick-up every Tuesday from 10:00am-Noon with the final pick-up on Tuesday, August 25. Please contact Clark to reserve lunches to ensure enough are prepared.
Lunch pick-up will take place at Port Washington High School PAC/Auditorium Entrance.

1) Please call our Food Service Director or email him to order meals

2) Please provide each of the students names, school they attend and grade level, and the number of days of meals.
Meals will meet Federal Meal Program standards.

Welcome to Thomas Jefferson Middle School in beautiful Port Washington WI!
We are a community of approximately 750 energetic and exceptional 5th, 6th, 7th & 8th grade learners. The entire Thomas Jefferson Middle School (affectionately known as "TJ") staff, in partnership with our parents and community, is committed to helping students as they achieve their academic and personal potential in a positive, supportive and collaborative learning environment. We truly are a team - and the TJ staff is completely invested in ensuring your child's success. A core principle of our programing at Thomas Jefferson is built upon the belief that the student - staff relationship is the cornerstone of the learning process. Simply put, rapport and trust have to be developed before real learning can begin.
Students are offered a wide variety of curricular options that enable them to develop new skills, interests, and knowledge to reach high levels of success. In addition, our students are engaged and involved in numerous activities, clubs, athletics and fine arts programs. This wide variety of options fits with our overarching school philosophy that student engagement leads directly to student success! Thomas Jefferson Middle School services all 5th - 8th grade students in the Port Washington-Saukville School District. Classes for all grades begin at 7:30 AM and students are dismissed at 2:44 PM. Our colors are blue and gold and we are known as the TJ Jaguars. Our office is open from 7a - 4p Monday through Thursday and 7a - 3p Friday.
