    Art Club - Keely.Welton@pwssd.k12.wi.us - gr 5-8 - Do you like to work with clay, plaster, wood, wire, or paint? Then this club is for you! Do you like to draw?  Do you like to paint?  Do you like to try new things and work at your own pace?  Then this club is for you! Feel free to stop in and ask Mrs. Welton any questions that you may have.

    Beta Club  - Danielle.BrownSmith@pwssd.k12.wi.us and Christin.Johnson@pwssd.k12.wi.us - gr 8 - a National Junior Honor Society for 8th grade students. The club provides students with an opportunity to practice leadership skills and to participate in community service activities. If you have questions, please contact TJ's school counselors Mrs. Brown-Smith or Mrs. Johnson. The fee is $32 which includes a Beta Club certificate and pin.

    Card Club -Elizabeth.Streicher@pwssd.k12.wi.us - gr 5-8

    Carpentry Club - Ryan.Cowen@pwssd.k12.wi.us - gr 6-8 - students will learn some basic woodworking skills and safety procedures and make one or two small projects. Each session will meet four times from 3:00p - 4:30p. The fee ($15) will cover materials that will be used. CARPENTRY CLUB SESSIONS FOR 2023-2024 ARE FULL

    Chess Club - Joanne.Lajoice@pwssd.k12.wi.us and Kristin.Levy@pwssd.k12.wi.us - gr 5-8 - Chess for experienced or non-experienced students. Students will play weekly games. Students will learn game rules and strategies. Tuesdays October 10 - December 12, 2023 and Jan 9 - March 12, 2024 after school 3p-4p in the TJMS cafeteria. The TJMS Annual Chess Tournament will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024. $10 for both semesters (ten weeks, each semester). Permission Form

    Color Guard - Adam.Hackbarth@pwssd.k12.wi.us - Meets 3pm-4pm on specific dates in Sept and Oct.  End of season is performing in the Home Coming Parade.

    First Lego League - Mr. Malloy spinelli85@gmail.com gr 5-8 - Does your child want to learn how to build robots? Does your child like coding? If you answered yes to either of these questions then they might want to try out First Lego League! TJMS will have two teams for the Fall of 2023. Space is limited, so students will be selected on a first come first serve basis.  THIS CLUB IS FULL at this time.

    First Lego League Challenge Division (5th through 8th grade)

    • Runs from September to early December
    • Meets twice a week from 6PM-7PM in room 509 (exact dates TBD)

    Students participating in the First Lego League Challenge Division will work together on a team to build an autonomous competition robot, research an innovation project, and present their work to a panel of judges at a regional competition.

    Sewing Club - Ashley.Reyes@pwssd.k12.wi.us - gr 5-8 - TJ students are invited to join the TJMS Sewing Club, where they will learn some basic hand and machine sewing skills and safety procedures, learn about fabric types and using patterns, and they will get to keep the projects that they complete!

    Student Ambassador / Student Leadership - Christin.Johnson@pwssd.k12.wi.us and Danielle.BrownSmith@pwssd.k12.wi.us gr 5-8 - This is an extracurricular activity for students who want to positively impact their school community, demonstrate the Jaguar Way (Respect, Responsibility & Kindness), and plan fun school events & activities. Large group meetings will be held at 7am in the TJMS Choir Room on select Tuesdays (see below dates); committees will meet at other times during the school day (i.e WIN, lunch & recess) to plan and coordinate events/activities.

    Yearbook - Sarah.Blankenburg@pwssd.k12.wi.us and Julie.Smith@pwssd.k12.wi.us- gr 6-8 students may sign up to help create the 2023-24 TJMS Yearbook.  Our first yearbook meeting will be on September 28th, from 2:45 - 3:30pm in the library.  This is an informational meeting and your are welcome to come and see what yearbook is all about!  Yearbook meetings will be held most Thursdays from 2:45 - 3:45pm and students will receive a schedule at the meeting.  Some jobs will be to take pictures, develop the theme for the yearbook, creat the design of the yearbook, choose the cover, edit the yearbook.  Members will be a part of a team that helps tell the students story.  Want to let us know you are interested?
