Amy E. Casey is an alumnus of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, having received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education as a proud UWM Panther. She is also a National Writing Project fellow, and has facilitated professional development in the teaching of writing at local and regional conferences. Amy started her teaching career in 2009, and has been teaching at Port Washington High School since 2013. Her favorite pastimes are distance running, writing, singing, reading science fiction, and cheering on the Milwaukee Bucks. She shares home with her wonderful husband and two mischievous tabby cats.
