Mrs. Floading joined the Communications team at Port Washington High School in 2004 and serves as Chair of the Department. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Marquette University in English and Philosophy and a Master of Arts in Teaching degree from Cardinal Stritch University. Currently, she teaches AP English Language and Composition, Communications 3 and Media Literacy & Composition. An AP Exam Reader for the College Board, Mrs. Floading is also a Teacher Consultant for the UW - Milwaukee Writing Project and a presenter for the Wisconsin Council of Teachers of English (WCTE). As co-chair of the Critical Thinking Committee at the high school, Mrs. Floading views her classroom as a community of learners engaged in meaningful interaction to explore how words can be used to inform, persuade and inspire others. She is available to help students during study hall, resource and by appointment after school.
