Mrs. O'Brien joined the Port Washington High School Math Department in the fall of 2006. Since then, she has taught almost every course at PWHS. She also serves as the Co-Advisor for Student Council. Currently, she is teaching Pre-Algebra, Algebra 2, Honors Pre-Calculus, and Advanced Placement Calculus BC.
Mrs. O'Brien earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Mathematics Education from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 2006, and a Master of Education in Instructional Technology from Cardinal Stritch University in 2010. She has a passion for teaching mathematics and helping students learn. She hopes to help her students learn how to become effective problem solvers who have discovered how mathematics can apply to their everyday lives.
