Good Morning PWSSD Families,
What an incredible day to be part of the Port Washington-Saukville School District!
I am thrilled to share some outstanding news for Dunwiddie Elementary School and our entire PWSSD community!
At 10:30 this morning, Dunwiddie Elementary School was officially recognized as one of just eight Blue Ribbon Schools in Wisconsin! This is an extraordinary honor and a tremendous reflection of the dedication, hard work, and commitment to student success demonstrated by our incredible educators, support staff, students, and families.
While today we celebrate Dunwiddie, this recognition is also a moment of pride for our entire district. It reflects the collective efforts of so many individuals who support our students throughout their educational journey and reinforces what we know to be true: Amazing things are happening across PWSSD!
Please join me in congratulating the entire Dunwiddie Elementary team on this well-deserved recognition! What an exciting accomplishment and another reason to be proud of the work we do each day for our students.
Below, you will find the official announcement from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI). We have also attached the PWSSD press release, which will be shared with local media later today.
Congratulations, Dunwiddie! What a great day to be 1 PWSSD!
Student Focused, Future Ready!
Sincerely,
Michael McMahon
