GREAT START CONFERENCES & PICTURE DAY

  • Thursday, August 27 | 11:40 AM – 7:40 PM (VIP photography available from 12:00 PM - 7:45 PM.)

  • Friday, August 28 | 7:40 AM – 11:40 AM (VIP photography available from 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM.)

Once again, all three PWSSD Elementary Schools will be hosting Great Start Conferences and Picture Day!  Everyone will be able to drop off their school supplies, meet their new teacher before the first day of school, explore their new classroom, and just feel more confident and excited for Day 1.  We will also have VIP Photography in the cafeteria for school pictures.

Please log in to the Infinite Campus Parent Portal to view your child's teacher assignment before scheduling your conference: https://pwssdwi.infinitecampus.org/campus/portal/pwssd.jsp

Kindergarten through Grade 4
Great Start Conferences in grades K5-4th will provide a 20 minute, in-person meeting with you, your child(ren), and your child(ren)’s teacher.

Conferences for 4K
4K Great Start Conferences follows a different format. Up to four families will sign up for one 45-minute slot. With families able to come together at the same time, our youngest students will be able to connect with other students and their families for a shared experience that includes a classroom tour, play-based activities, and a chance to meet their teacher. This format will help build early connections and comfort with the school environment for both students and families.

To schedule your conference, our PTC Wizard will open Monday, August 17 at 7am and will remain open until midnight, Wednesday, August 26.
Click here to sign up in PTC Wizard for your conference

Don't know about you, but we're still smiling after Sunday’s beautiful graduation ceremony. The Class of 2026 was one for the record books and are certainly ready to take on whatever lies ahead for them.

It takes a village to get them there however, and we are so grateful for our wonderful Port Washington-Saukville community, teachers, and families who supported them every step of the way.

"Caps off" to the new grads, go make the world a better place!

Happy National School Nurse Day to our very own Abby Bonness!

At PWSSD, our mission is to keep our students focused and future-ready. We know that for our kids to reach their greatest potential, they need to feel safe and healthy first. That’s where Abby’s magic comes in!

Whether she’s expertly applying a colorful bandage, offering a calm word during a busy day, or looking out for the well-being of our entire school community, Abby is a huge part of what makes our schools a great place to be.

Abby, thank you for everything you do to keep our students and staff at their best, especially with all the behind the scenes work that many of us never even see. We hope your day is full of (healthy) snacks and appreciation!

Happy National Principals Day!

Today, we are taking a moment to celebrate the incredible leaders who steer our schools with heart, dedication, and vision. A huge shout-out to the phenomenal principals of our district:

Jane Gennerman – Lincoln Elementary
Elyse Voskuil – Dunwiddie Elementary
Jae Henderson – Saukville Elementary
Nick DeBaker – Thomas Jefferson Middle School
Rachel Biertzer – Port Washington High School

Thank you for everything you do to support our students, empower our teachers, and build a stronger community every single day. We are so lucky to have you "at the helm"!

Building the Foundation, One Note at a Time!

Limited Edition, Genesis, and the Jaguar Singers visited each of our grade schools for their annual tour today. The fourth graders even got in on the action!

This annual visit is all about showing our younger students that they are the future of our music program. Whether they were inspired today to join the Jaguar Singers or have dreams of one day finding their voice in Limited Edition, we want them to know that their musical journey is just beginning.

We know that high levels of student involvement lead to a stronger sense of belonging in our school community - it's one of our strategic goals. We certainly saw that in action today!
Stay tuned later this week as we specifically highlight Limited Edition and their upcoming trip to Nationals in NYC!

Thursday, April 9: Grades 4-12 opens at 4:00 PM

Important Information/Reminders:
Course requests are first-come, first-served. Some classes have limited capacity and may fill quickly. We recommend having your selections planned in advance.

Schedules are not created immediately. Infinite Campus uses a course request system, and student schedules will be built after the request window closes on Sunday, May 3.

Schedules will be available in Infinite Campus on or about May 13, 2026.

Course availability is dependent on session and period offerings. Please review the appropriate Summer School Catalog before selecting courses to ensure your requests align with availability.

If you are logged in prior to 4:00 PM and do not see the "Course Registration" tab, please log out and log back in.

The Infinite Campus mobile app is not recommended for course requests. Please use a web browser on a computer or tablet.

If the system experiences high traffic, access may be temporarily impacted. We will communicate any updates if issues occur.

First graders ventured out to view First Stage’s rendition of Peter Pan and Wendy. The reviews were resoundingly positive with all the children getting “hooked” the moment the curtain opened! (And a little birdie told us that the bus driver was extremely complimentary of our little darlings and their fabulous behavior. Way to go, Lincoln Lions!)

To kick off #PWSSDReads and celebrate the start of #NationalReadingMonth, we had a very special guest reader in Mr. Clark’s third-grade classroom at Dunwiddie Elementary School. Superintendent McMahon stopped by to dive into Chapter One of Fenway and Hattie! 📖🐾

The students were all ears as we started the adventures of the impulsive little dog, Fenway, and his favorite human, Hattie. It was the perfect way to spark our love for literacy this March.

A huge thank you to Superintendent McMahon for spending time with our third graders and helping us launch this district-wide reading celebration!
