Don't know about you, but we're still smiling after Sunday’s beautiful graduation ceremony. The Class of 2026 was one for the record books and are certainly ready to take on whatever lies ahead for them.

It takes a village to get them there however, and we are so grateful for our wonderful Port Washington-Saukville community, teachers, and families who supported them every step of the way.

"Caps off" to the new grads, go make the world a better place!

Happy National School Nurse Day to our very own Abby Bonness!

At PWSSD, our mission is to keep our students focused and future-ready. We know that for our kids to reach their greatest potential, they need to feel safe and healthy first. That’s where Abby’s magic comes in!

Whether she’s expertly applying a colorful bandage, offering a calm word during a busy day, or looking out for the well-being of our entire school community, Abby is a huge part of what makes our schools a great place to be.

Abby, thank you for everything you do to keep our students and staff at their best, especially with all the behind the scenes work that many of us never even see. We hope your day is full of (healthy) snacks and appreciation!

Building the Foundation, One Note at a Time!

Limited Edition, Genesis, and the Jaguar Singers visited each of our grade schools for their annual tour today. The fourth graders even got in on the action!

This annual visit is all about showing our younger students that they are the future of our music program. Whether they were inspired today to join the Jaguar Singers or have dreams of one day finding their voice in Limited Edition, we want them to know that their musical journey is just beginning.

We know that high levels of student involvement lead to a stronger sense of belonging in our school community - it's one of our strategic goals. We certainly saw that in action today!
Stay tuned later this week as we specifically highlight Limited Edition and their upcoming trip to Nationals in NYC!

Happy Music in Schools Month!

There is no better way to celebrate the power of music education than by highlighting the incredible talent right here in our hallways. We are beyond proud of our dedicated musicians who poured their hearts into their performances at the district WSMA Solo & Ensemble festival this past Saturday.

The results speak for themselves: our PWHS band and choir students took on 38 different events, and an incredible 23 of those are now advancing to the State festival! CONGRATS and keep up the great work!

Congratulations to Grady Karrels on reaching an incredible achievement tonight — 1,000 career points!

In a thrilling regional championship game that came down to the very final seconds, Grady was able to hit this milestone right on his home court, making the moment even more special.
History was also made tonight for Port Washington Boys Basketball. For the first time ever, two players in the same season have reached the 1,000 career point milestone. This is a huge accomplishment and something that only a select few players ever achieve.

Grady, we are incredibly proud of you and all the hard work you’ve put in to reach this moment. Congratulations on an amazing achievement!
